4 months!

Lexi Jane is now 4 months old!  Time is going by so fast.  But that's okay, like I've said before, we really enjoy watching our kids grow.  She is also starting to find her place in the family.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that I don't remember life without her, but I will say that life finally seems normal with her here, and I couldn't imagine our current life without her.
She hasn't had her 4 month doctor appointment yet, so I have no official weights or measurements to share.  However, if you come back at the end of the month, I will make sure the blog is updated after her appointment.
Until then, you'll just have to settle for some super duper cute pictures of our 4 month old baby girl!  She's rockin' the hairbow AND crazy baby hair in these pics.  Love her!

Maybe it's just me, but Miss Lola Monkey sure does seem to be getting smaller. ;)

Schilter Family Farm

Even though it's still pretty early in the fall season, we decided to take advantage of the good weather we've been having before it's gone and the rain returns.  So we took the kids down to Schilter's Family Farm, the same pumpkin patch we visited last year.  It's was the perfect day and perfect location for an easy, cheap, entertaining afternoon with the family.  Lot's of harvest fun, lots of farm to explore, and plenty of opportunity to capture some fall photos with Levi and Lexi.
Look how much he's grown in a year!
This was taken last year; Levi was almost 10 months old.

He is often mistaken for a 2 or 3 year old.  Future football player perhaps?

Tricked him into smiling by asking him to show me his teeth.

Our next trick to capture a smile?  We told him to "Jump!"

Lexi's turn.

3 1/2 months - next year she won't need my help.

We asked Levi to make Lexi smile, so he ran in and gave her a hug.

...and a kiss.

A picture with Mommy!

Almost able to sit up on her own.

Entering the Hay Maze.
Looks like someone's getting sleepy.

I love it. I don't feel like I've taken very many pictures with the kids.  I'm so happy Moises took so many for me!

Going through the maze.  Levi totally had the advantage, he was just short enough and skinny enough that he was able skurry around ahead of us.  We almost lost him in there a few times!

Going for a hay ride.

Levi and his Dada

We told him to go and sit on the hay stack.  He thought that meant sit on the TOP of the hay stack.

Climbing to the top...

Still going... higher and higher...

He made it!  All the way to the top without anyone's help. He has NO fear of anything!

Now that we're up here, might as well just play around a bit!

What goes up must come down.

Found a cool tractor to play on.

Time to go get us some pumpkins.

Going for ride - much easier than walking (or waiting for the little to walk behind you).

Picking out a small pumpkin for Lexi

He really enjoyed that game of pumpkin pickin'.

If it was up to Levi, we would still be out there picking pumpkins and throwing them into the wheelbarrow.

Hanging out waiting for Daddy to buy the pumpkins.  We got 4, one for each of us.

Still just casually waiting... pretty funny how he just sat there chillin' while we picked out some other fruits and vegetables to take home.

And that about sums up our afternoon at the pumpkin patch!
