Cousins

I've been going through our pictures and realizing I have SO MANY pictures that I need to add to this blog and share with my family and friends.  So heads up, you may see a plethora of old pictures in the next several blog posts. =)
I grew up having 11 cousins. So many good memories were made growing up together, and for cousins I felt like we all had a fairly close relationship – as close as could be considering the distance we all lived from each other.
I pray that my children will be able to have a close relationship with their cousins as they grow up.  In fact, perhaps the one and only regret I have about waiting so long to have children is that Levi and Lexi are much younger than all their cousins and I’m afraid that might hinder them from having that close relationship.  On the other hand, they sure do have a lot of cousins who are almost old enough to babysit!  So, from my perspective, it’s not all bad I suppose. =)
This past march Levi got to spend some time with all of his cousins on my side of the family. (Levi and Lexi have 15 cousins total!  Keep scrolling down for some pictures with his cousins from Moises' side of the family.)  He was the youngest at 15 months and the oldest was 13.  Technically, Lexi was there also, but considering that we were still calculating her age in weeks of gestation, she didn’t make it in the pictures.
So here they are all the grandkids on Dad’s side of the family.  I’m always looking forward to the next time they can all be together again – and next time, of course, Lexi will make it in the pictures!

Lucas, Brian, Cameric, Kenny, Levi, Becca, Caitlin, & Reba

Trying to get 8 kids to all smile and look the same way at the same time... At least we tried.

Finally, a FUN picture!!

LOL!  I just love all these little people!

Looks like Levi is attempting a silly face as well.

The oldest and the youngest

Beautiful girls!  Can't wait for a picture of Lexi with her girl cousins.
The boys.

Steven, on the right, is my sister Julie's nephew.  He is cousins with Levi and Lexi's cousins, so I guess that makes him a long distance cousin? Either way he is family and we have enjoyed getting to know him.  (As a side note, I can't help but laugh every time I look at Lucas in this picture.  There must have been something good on the TV!)

Yup, must have been something good on TV because now Reba is trying to sneak a peak. LOL!
Now for the rest of the cousins!  These pictures are quite old, almost a year now actually.  These were taken in November of 2011 when Levi was only 11 months old.  We were fortunate enough to be able to spend some time around Thanksgiving last year in Texas, and Moises' family got to finally meet our Levi.
Same story as the first, attempts at getting all the kiddos to look the same way and smile at the same time just didn't happen.  In fact I may even recall that I was sweating a bit by the time we finally took these few pictures. Haha!  Maybe by the time they are all over the age of 20 we might get that "perfect" picture. =)  Two of the cousins are missing, Moises' brother wasn't able to be there while we were in town, but here is Levi with the other six.

Isaiah, Daisy, Levi, Sarah, Grace, Luke, & Demi

It looks like Levi was the ultimate trouble maker here!  He's never been a fan of having to stop playing long enough to sit still and smile.

Laughing is so contagious; I can't help but laugh when I look at Daisy cracking up in the picture.  And I still can't remember what was so funny!

What a fun bunch of kids!  Levi and Lexi are so blessed!
